Acceptable use policy

Sell what's legal, honestly, to people who get what they paid for.

Draft: this page still needs a lawyer's review. Until then it isn't shown in search engines.

A YallaFlow store may sell only what is legal to sell where it sells, honestly, to people who get what they paid for. This policy lists what is not allowed. It is part of the terms of service.

What can’t be sold

  • Illegal drugs, and anything sold to make or use them.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and parts that make them work, except where you hold every licence the law requires and sell only as it allows.
  • Counterfeit or copied goods, and anything that infringes a trademark, copyright or patent.
  • Stolen goods.
  • Prescription medicines, and products that claim to cure or treat illness without the approvals the law requires.
  • Tobacco, vapes, alcohol and cannabis products, except where the law allows online sale and you check buyers’ age as it requires.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits children. We report it to the authorities.
  • Gambling, lotteries and betting, except with the licences the law requires.
  • Financial products: investments, crypto trading schemes, loans, or anything promising returns.
  • Personal data, accounts, fake reviews or followers.
  • Anything else the law of Israel, or of the place you sell to, does not allow to be sold.

What can’t be done

  • Taking money for goods or services you don’t intend to deliver, or misleading buyers about what they get.
  • Pretending to be another business or person, or copying another store’s brand to mislead.
  • Collecting card details, passwords or personal data by deception (phishing).
  • Sending spam, including push notifications or emails to people who didn’t ask for them.
  • Content that incites violence, racism or terror, or harasses people.
  • Malware, or code that attacks shoppers’ devices, through custom code or otherwise.
  • Getting around YallaFlow’s security, limits or billing, reaching other owners’ stores, or overloading the service on purpose.
  • Using YallaFlow to run something other than an online store or its site without our written agreement.

What we do about it

  1. When we learn about a problem, we look at it. Where we can, we first ask you to fix it and give you time.
  2. If it isn’t fixed, or the case is serious, we suspend the store: shoppers see “This store is unavailable” and it takes no orders. You can still sign in, see the reason and export your data.
  3. Serious or repeated cases may lead to closing the account and suspending every store in it.
  4. We lift a suspension once the problem is fixed and we agree it won’t come back. We email you in each step.

We may report illegal activity to the authorities and share what the law requires.
